Terms of Service

The agreement that applies when you use Atlorin — your account, your profile, our products, and how orders, payments and cancellations work.

Effective date: August 28, 2026

1.Acceptance of these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Atlorin (“Atlorin”, “we”, “us”) covering your use of atlorin.com, the digital profile service, and any physical products you buy from us.

By creating an account, using the service, or placing an order, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Atlorin.

2.Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Atlorin, and old enough to enter a binding contract in your jurisdiction to place an order. If you use Atlorin on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it.

3.Your account

You need an account to build a profile or place an order. You agree to give accurate information, to keep your email address current, and to keep your password — or your Google or Apple sign-in — secure.

You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us through the contact form if you believe someone else has gained access to it.

Your account must be verified by email before it becomes fully active. If you sign in with a provider, you can add or remove sign-in methods from your account page, provided you always keep at least one working way to get in.

4.Your content and your profile

Everything you put on your digital profile — your name, photos, contact details, links, and any other content — remains yours. You are responsible for it.

You grant us the limited licence we need to operate the service: to host, store, reproduce and publicly display your content so that your profile can be served to the people you share it with. That licence exists purely so the product can work, and it ends when you remove the content or close your account.

Your profile is public. Anyone with the link, the QR code, or one of your NFC products can view it. Do not publish anything you would not want a stranger to see.

You confirm you have the right to publish what you upload — including photos, logos, and anything belonging to an employer or client.

5.Acceptable use

You agree not to use Atlorin to:

  • impersonate another person, business or organisation, or misrepresent who you are;
  • publish unlawful, deceptive, harassing, hateful or sexually explicit content;
  • distribute malware, run phishing, or point a profile or device at a destination intended to deceive or harm the person who opens it;
  • infringe anyone’s intellectual property or privacy rights;
  • send unsolicited bulk messages, or harvest contact details for that purpose;
  • probe, scrape, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or another user’s account;
  • resell or misrepresent the service as your own product.

We may remove content or suspend an account that breaks these rules — see termination.

6.NFC and QR products

Our physical products carry an NFC chip, a printed QR code, or both. Tapping or scanning one opens a link that forwards to the destination configured for that product.

Products work with compatible devices and readers. NFC behaviour varies between phones, operating system versions and settings, and we cannot guarantee that every device a person might use will read a given product.

You choose where your device points

You are responsible for the destination configured on any profile or device you control — including any external website or link you add. Anyone who taps your product is trusting you, not us, about where it leads. Do not point a device at content that is unlawful, deceptive, or harmful, and keep the destination accurate as things change.

If you give away or hand on a physical product, whoever holds it can tap it. Update or disconnect it first if it should no longer lead to you.

7.Orders and pricing

The digital profile is free. Physical products are one-time purchases with no subscription.

Prices are shown in the product catalogue and at checkout in US dollars, and the price charged is the one confirmed at checkout. We may change prices for future orders, and we do our best to keep the catalogue accurate — but if a product is listed with a clear pricing or description error, we may cancel the affected order and refund it in full rather than fulfil it at the wrong price.

Placing an order is an offer to buy. The order is accepted when payment is confirmed and we begin fulfilling it. Stock is limited by what we have available, and we will tell you if we cannot fulfil an order.

8.Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. You enter your card details on a payment page hosted by Stripe, and your use of that page is also subject to Stripe’s own terms.

Atlorin does not receive or store your full card number. We keep the record of the transaction — amount, currency, status and Stripe’s identifiers — so we can fulfil the order and process any refund.

You confirm you are authorised to use the payment method you provide. Taxes, where they apply, are handled at checkout.

9.Shipping and fulfilment

Physical products currently ship to United States addresses only. We collect the shipping address at checkout.

Please check your address carefully — we ship to the address given, and we cannot recover a package sent to an address entered incorrectly.

Products are made to order, so fulfilment takes time: the device has to be encoded, tested and dispatched. Any timeframe we give is an estimate, not a guaranteed delivery date, and carrier delays are outside our control.

10.Cancellations and refunds

This section describes what the platform actually does, rather than a general return policy.

Before anything ships

An order can be cancelled while none of its devices have shipped. When it is cancelled, we refund through Stripe to the original payment method, for the amount not already refunded, and any devices reserved for the order are returned to inventory. Refunds are issued by Stripe and how quickly they appear depends on your bank or card issuer.

Once an order has shipped

A shipped order cannot be cancelled automatically and has to be handled with us directly. Contact us through the contact form and we will work it out with you case by case.

What we are not promising

Because products are personalised and made to order, we do not offer a blanket change-of-mind return window. That is a deliberate statement of what exists rather than a disclaimer of a policy we run informally.

If a product arrives damaged, faulty, or does not match what you ordered, tell us through the contact form and we will put it right.

11.Intellectual property

Atlorin owns the service — the software, the profile designs and templates, the site content, and the Atlorin name and logo. Using the service does not transfer any of that to you.

You may use the profile designs to present your own content through the service. You may not copy, resell or redistribute the designs or the software itself, or use the Atlorin name or branding in a way that suggests we endorse you.

Your content stays yours, as described under your content.

12.Third-party services and links

The service relies on third parties — Stripe for payments, an email provider for transactional messages, and Google and Apple for optional sign-in. Your use of those is subject to their own terms and policies.

Profiles link out to external sites. We do not control those destinations, do not endorse them, and are not responsible for their content — including links published by other Atlorin users.

13.Service availability and changes

We work to keep Atlorin available, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, faults, and problems at our providers can all cause downtime.

We may add, change or remove features. If we discontinue something you depend on, we will make a reasonable effort to give notice. The commitment that the digital profile stays free is one we intend to keep.

14.Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service and any products are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure against every threat, that NFC products will be readable by every device, or that any link you configure will remain available.

Nothing here excludes a warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded where you live.

15.Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Atlorin will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost business, lost opportunities, or lost or corrupted data, arising out of or relating to your use of the service or any product — even if we have been advised that such damages are possible.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims relating to the service or a product is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or fifty US dollars.

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, in which case they apply to you only as far as the law allows.

16.Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Atlorin and the people who work on it from claims, damages, liabilities and reasonable legal costs arising from your content, the destinations you configure, your use of the service, or your breach of these terms or of anyone else’s rights.

17.Suspension and termination

You may stop using Atlorin at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account through the contact form.

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, that is being used unlawfully, or that creates risk for other users or for the service. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why and give you a chance to put it right.

When an account ends, its public profile stops being served and any device pointing at it stops resolving. Sections that by their nature should survive — intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification — continue to apply.

18.Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws applicable at Atlorin’s principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the law where you live gives you rights that cannot be overridden by agreement.

If a dispute arises, please contact us first through the contact form. Most issues are resolved faster that way than through a formal process.

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force and that provision is applied as far as the law allows.

19.Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product and our obligations change. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page, and for material changes we will make a reasonable effort to tell you directly. Continuing to use Atlorin after an update means the updated terms apply to you.

20.Contact us

Questions about these terms go through the contact form on atlorin.com. Our transactional email is sent from a no-reply address, so the contact form is the reliable way to reach a person.
